Grocery Shopping Made Easy
It’s been months since I launched this section of my website and I haven’t had time to sit down and write a buying guide worth publishing. I’m finding it a little hard to juggle my full time job and my writing and haven’t even been updating my two other blogs regularly. But, today I found a good reason to blog here. I just found out you can buy groceries from Amazon.com! They actually have a Grocery Section with over 22,000 non-perishable items. They also have a Subscribe and Save program that lets you save on items that you use routinely and ensures that you never run out. Here’s the way it works: you set up a delivery schedule for items you know you’ll need to replenish periodically, and you get a discount and free shipping for doing that. You will be notified by email when the products are due for shipping, at which point you can decide to either change the schedule or drop it. What really appeals to me though is the convenience of having my groceries delivered - at least as far as non-perishables are concerned. I know that there are neighborhood grocery stores that provide this service but for those like me who don’t have that luxury, this is a great alternative.
